报告摘要

In this talk, we will introduce the asymptotic stability of the solution to an initial-boundary value problem on the half line for a hyperbolic-elliptic coupled system of the radiating gas, where the data on the boundary and at the far fifield state are defifined as u− and u+ satisfying u− < u+. Motivated by the work of Liu, Matsumura, and Nishihara (SIAM J. Math. Anal. 29 (1998) 293-308) on the scalar viscous conservation law, we prove the stability of rarefaction wave (0 ≤ u− < u+), stationary solution (u− < u+ ≤ o), and their superposition (u− < 0 < u+) by applying the standard L2 -energy method.

朱长江，博士，教授，博士生导师，国家杰出青年科学基金获得者，入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”，全国优秀科技工作者，国家“万人计划”教学名师。现任华南理工大学数学学院院长，兼任《Kinetic and Related Models》、《Advances in Pure Mathematics》、《ISRN Mathematical Analysis》、《Progress in Applied Mathematics》、《Acta Mathematica Scientia》、《数学物理学报》、《应用数学》编委、《数学教育学报》副主编，教育部高等学校数学类教学指导委员会委员，国家级教学团队、国家级精品课程共享课程负责人。主持国家自然科学基金重点项目。研究方向：非线性偏微分方程。
