报告摘要

This talk proceeds to prove the stability of boundary layer solutions and identify the precise structure of boundary layer solutions. Roughly speaking, we justify that the solution with ε > 0 converges to the solution with ε = 0 (outer layer solution) plus the inner layer solution with the optimal rate at order of O(ε 1/2 ) as ε → 0, where the outer and inner layer solutions are well determined and the relation between outer and inner layer solutions can be explicitly identified.

专家简介

王治安，教授，2007年于加拿大University of Alberta取得数学博士学位，2007年8月-2009年8月在美国明尼苏达大学作博士后，2009年8月-2010年8月在美国Vanderbilt University作Visit Assistant Professor，2010年8月至今任职香港理工大学应用数学系。王治安博士多年来从事应用数学领域——偏微分方程理论及其应用的研究，在该专业领域包括Indiana Univ.Math.,SIAM, J. Math. Anal, SIAM, J. Appl. Math, M3AS, Nonlinearity， JDE， DCDS-A等在内的杂志上发表论文40余篇。
